Our 2017 goal is to provide 25,000 books to children throughout South Central Wisconsin. To help us achieve this goal we’re bringing back our community reading game, Read Like Mad. 100% of the proceeds raised from the game will go directly to Madison Reading Project. NEW THIS YEAR the game is open to adults and children and there will also be a game board specifically for the kids!
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s easy to play:
You register to play and pay the $10 registration fee
Pick a dollar amount you pledge* to read per book
For eight (8) weeks read as many books as you can from the suggested categories (genres) on the game board.
Did we mention by playing the game you will be eligible to win** one of our grand prizes as well as one of our weekly prizes! Just to name a few of the prizes…how does a family pass to Schuster’s Playtime Farm, a free single scoop from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, or a party for 10 at Bare Knuckle Arts sound? Connect with the game on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
*A minimum pledge of $1 per book is required.
**Only paid registrants will be eligible for the prizes. To be eligible for one of the top prizes, your completed game board and pledge (donation) must be received by 5:00 p.m., November 3, 2017.
