Madison Reading Project is the official Literacy Champion of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for all Dane and Sauk County residents! The Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the world.

Through this exciting partnership, registered children from birth to age five will receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book each month, personalized with the child’s name and mailed directly to the child’s home, to create a gifting experience that makes books exciting and ignites the joy of reading.

2) Your child’s Welcome Book - The Little Engine that Could - will arrive within two months of your signup date, and titles for your child’s age group will begin the following month.
