Books for Educators
Madison Reading Project is dedicated to connecting educators with free books and literacy resources that reflect and support the unique identities of their students. Our Books For Educators Program provides teachers with high-quality books to build diverse classroom libraries.
Our Classroom Kickstart event is BACK for the 2026 Back-to-School season. From August 18th-21st, Dane and Sauk County K-12 Public School Educators can sign up to visit our Book Center to shop for 25 brand-new, free books for their classrooms. Register now!
Important information:
Books for Educators serves educators working in Dane and Sauk County public schools. Books are intended for classroom use.
The following schools or educators will be participating in a partnership this year and will not need to complete this form:
