There’s nothing quite like opening a brand-new book. That simple joy is what our Community Book Drive is all about! Running from November 10th through December 10th, this annual event brings together families, businesses, and neighbors from across Dane County to help bring book access, literacy resources, and that #NewBookFeeling to children and families for the holiday season, winter break, and into the new year!
Now that our biggest book rally of the year has begun, we need you - YES, YOU! - to join the drive. This year, Community Book Drive is launching with a $10,000 match challenge made possible by inspiring gifts from Diane Ballweg and Joan Collins! Make your gift THIS WEEK, and every dollar you donate will be matched (up to $10,000). Your support goes twice as far, buys twice as many books, and supports twice as many kids. Not to mention, your gift could inspire someone else's generosity! So, will you help make the MATCH-ic happen with your donation?

More ways to get involved:
Can you host a Book Raiser and collect NEW books for end-of-year book giving?
We give you everything you need - a book raiser toolkit, sample email and text copy, printable wish tags, and a donation pledge sheet!
Lead a Peers for Pages Fundraiser - a great way to get involved for kids and families!
Create your own fundraising page, add a message to your supporters, and share it via social media, email, and text
We give you a toolkit with email and text copy and FUNdraiser ideas!
Rally your book club! Get support from your swim team! Sell hot cocoa and cookies!
Books do more than entertain; they open doors. They help children dream bigger, think deeper, and connect with the world around them. The Community Book Drive is a chance for all of us to give that gift of possibility. This holiday season, join us in celebrating community, literacy, and the power of a good story. Together, we can share the joy of reading, one book at a time.
